Last year I was charged with finding a family for the whole family, because I spent most of the last holiday moaning about the rubbish location, the poor food, and the lumpy bed! Of course, I regretted my options as soon as I knew that I was lumbered with all the hard work, but at least I would be able to be in control of my own destiny this time, and I was pretty sure that I could do a better job than my son and wife in choosing somewhere that we would all like!
I started to have a look around online and I soon came across a site that I liked the look of. It had some wonderful pictures of their accommodation, and they seemed to have some very affordable and nice looking Family holidays available just when we wanted to go. As soon as my wife got home I called her over to the computer to show her what I had found. I’m afraid to say that she had to eat humble pie, because she thought that it looked absolutely beautiful! My son thought so too, and with the camp site having a football pitch in the grounds, he was sold right away!
We booked the holiday there and then, and I sat back, and basked in the knowledge that at least this year I would have a holiday that I could actually look forward to!
